Waynetown, April 26 -- Mrs. Clarinda Livengood, widow of John Livengood, died following a five months' illness with a complication of diseases at 6:30 o'clock Saturday night at her home five miles south of Hillsboro.  Mrs. Livengood was born April 17, 1853 near Wallace, the daughter of John and Mary Swain (sic - Swaim?) Philpott.  She was married Dec 12, 1872. Her husband died Jan 6, resident of Fountain County and 1936 (note this did not make a lots of sense but what it said).  The deceased was a life-long member of Prairie Chapel. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.  Charles Munns of Waynetown and Mrs. Charles Grimes of near Hillsboro; a son, Omer Livengood at home; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial will be in the Waynetown masonic cemetery.
